Wintertime provides an opportunity to experience nature in a completely different way. There are fewer people outside and there’s more silence. Without leaves on the trees, you can see more of the landscape. All you need are some good waterproofs and a sense of adventure and you’ll begin to realise that those wild, windy days can be just as good as the warm summer ones.
Enjoy crisp winter walks on one of our many walkways and trails which are spectacular in winter with an abundance of different routes to choose from; wrap up and challenge yourself to some archery or check out some of the many cultural sites Kilkenny has in abundance!
